And The Beauty Of Our Home,
"The USA”

We are entering the West side of Zion Nation National Park off of I-15, it has some real good twisty but you won't to go very fast because you will be mesmerized at the beauty all around you.
We are now entering the East side of Zion Nation National Park, on SR-9. This is also a very twisties road and like the West side you will not be going very fast because of all of the beauty everywhere.
The hole in the wall is one of several ventilation openings for the tunnel that goes through the hill.
Along US-89, a nice place to stay.
Another Wigwam Motel.
We're on US-193 South bound on our way to Monument Valley, we drove past it last night and now we return to see all, there is a light misty rain in the air and overcast. And for those of you that want to take there bike everywhere you go, unless you have a dirt bike don't try it. It is very loose sand once you past the receptionist and parking area.
I'm here to tell you, I sink in sand real fast.
Ya ever try to pull or push 950 lbs. of beautiful Goldwing out of loose sand up to my belly pan bafore? Well Dick can't do it alone either!
And this is the famous Mexican Hat that has been in so many western movies through the years. This is also a rather good place to spend the night. There's a super good outdoors restaurant that has some of the best cooking you find, it's not to expensive either.
Remember back on the "US-129 The Tail of the Dragon," page where I said.
"Again if you have the nerve to take SR-261 North, The Moki Dugway from US-163 to SR-95, this road starts out very strait with a few slow curves in it and extremely boring with not very much to see, but when you get to the first big turn it is all up hill with gravel and 5 and 10 MPH switchbacks, I was told by many bikers back at Mexican Hat what ever I do, do not to take this road, that it was to dangerous for a big bike like me, unfortunately for them they don't have a clue how good a Goldwing rides, and handles nor did they know what kind of roads I grew up on and drive on just about every day. Granted my roads are well paved and are not covered with gravel.
Well here it is at about 800 feet form the top. As I said it starts out kinda slow and mundane, slow curves with virtually no elevation changes at all and nothing to see. Ole yeah, enlarge the picture and look at the bottom Left hand corner to see one of the switchbacks I was telling you about. Yep, it's all gravel.
Come on now, if a big ole girl like me can do it I know you can too. It's just a matter of playing with the throttle and clutch a little bit and staying out of first gear, and you get a real good and smooth ride all the way up here. As I said before, from the bottom to the top, it's all gravel.
girl.
The temperature was only 98Degs. and I didn't overheat once.
A quick look around from the top now that were up here.
Up the road on US-191 not you'll run to Canyonlands.
Just North of Moab on US-191
Can anyone tell me why this is still up there?
There seems to be a lot of these out here.
If you visit this sight and it doesn't matter if you are a motorcyclist or not, and know of beautiful places in your state and would like for us to visit there and take videos and photographs to post on this sight, so everyone will be able to see what is in your state for them to see, please E-mail me with all the information and possibly a picture or two of what you're talking about and I will respond to you and make arrangements for a visit to your state.
As far as we are concerned this website will always be a work in progress, I doubt it will ever be completely finished, even if all of the states are filled with photos and videos. There will always more to see.
